Membership

Membership is the lifeblood of the NAACP. We depend on our members generosity to insure the NAACP’s independence. We are in the process of updating our membership roles and we need your help. You, our members, are the critical link in managing a successful Branch. Your continued financial supports (membership dues) are essential to the maintenance of the Branch.

For each $30 membership we receive, $11.90 (40%) remains with the Branch. We are strictly a volunteer organization with no salaried employees. The forty percent of your dues that remain in the community pay for local programs (newsletter, office supplies, mail, phones, website, scholarships). Your board members receive no financial support for mileage or travel to national meeting. Yet we remain on the forefront of the struggle for civil rights in Vancouver and Clark County.

Lifetime Membership

Junior Life (ages 13 and under); Payable in annual installments of $25.00 or more:	$100.00
Bronze Life (ages 14 to 21); Payable in annual installments of $50.00 or more:	$400.00
Silver Life; Payable in annual installments of $75.00 or more:	$750.00
Gold Life; Payable in annual installments of $150.00 or more:	$1,500.00
Diamond Life; Payable in annual installments of $250.00 or more:	$2,500.00
